Nothing is made
until you order.

Häcker does not stock kitchens. Every cabinet, front, drawer and fitting is produced for one plan, in the company’s own factories in Rödinghausen and Venne, around 1,000 kitchens a day, and shipped to the country it was ordered from. For India that means a sea voyage and a studio in your city that receives the kitchen and installs it. The 16 to 18 weeks are the making and the journey; your studio confirms the schedule in writing on the day you order, so the date is not a guess.

7 stages, in order.

1 · Planning

You visit a studio with your floor plan, or the builder’s drawing for a new apartment. The designer walks the displays with you, asks how you cook, and draws a measured layout with elevations. It is revised as often as it needs to be; nothing is ordered yet.

2 · The quotation

Itemised: cabinetry, fronts, hardware, interiors, appliances and worktop shown separately, so you can move any one of them. You also get the written warranty terms before you decide, not after.

3 · Order day

Appliances and every detail are settled, because the cabinets will be made to them. The studio measures the site, places the order with the factory, and confirms your delivery schedule in writing. This is the day the 16 to 18 weeks start.

4 · Made in Germany

Your kitchen becomes a production order in Rödinghausen. Boards are cut, edges sealed in the factory (PUResist), and the cabinets assembled with their hinges and drawer runners fitted, so they leave the factory as finished units rather than flat packs. The same factories carry the RAL “Made in Germany” mark, the Golden M and the BIS licence for India.

5 · The journey

The finished cabinets are packed and shipped to India by sea, cleared, and delivered to the studio in your city. Sea freight is the reason the schedule is counted in months, and the reason the studio quotes a range rather than a day until the kitchen has landed.

6 · Your site

While the kitchen travels, the room is finished to the drawing: flooring laid, walls done, plumbing and electrical points where the plan puts them. Your studio gives you the list and checks the site before the installation date, so the day is not lost to a missing socket.

7 · Installation and handover

Installation is scheduled with you and carried out by teams trained on Häcker systems. The cabinets go in first; the worktop is measured once they stand, then fitted along with the sink and appliances. You take over a working kitchen, and the written warranty runs from that date.

Count back
from the day you cook.

A new apartment

Many buyers order while the flat is still being finished, from the builder’s plan, and have the studio measure once the walls are up. Count back 16 to 18 weeks from your possession date, then add the time the site needs to be ready; the studio schedules installation around the date you get the keys.

A renovation

The old kitchen can stay in use for most of the 16 to 18 weeks. Plan the civil work, plumbing and electrical changes for the last weeks before the delivery, so the room is without a kitchen for as short a time as possible.

Appliances

Decide them before order day. Cabinets are made to the appliance sizes, so a different oven or hob later means a changed cabinet. If you already own appliances you want to keep, bring their models to the first visit.

Changes after the order

Possible, but every change means the changed cabinets are made anew in Germany, and that moves the date. Settle the plan on paper first; the drawing can be revised as often as you like before you order.
